Behavior Analyst Intern, RBT
Hello! I’m Anne B, and I’m a Registered Behavior Technician, or RBT. I am also one of the Behavior Analyst Interns for Bright Minds! I currently supervise clients, implement assessments, write treatment plans, and create therapy goals for clients diagnosed with autism to build skills and knowledge needed to live an independent life.
I work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, a therapy that helps improve the lives of clients and families with autism. This is done by creating meaningful goals and change by creating and individualizing therapy goals to build skills that the clients and families can use as tools to be successful in their lives. My belief and my goal is for clients and families to live their fullest and most independent lives; while feeling supported.
My educational background: I earned my Bachelors in Psychology from Illinois State University in 2022 and recently obtained a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University in 2026. I intend on taking the BCBA exam in August of 2026.
A few personal accomplishments I have achieved include becoming Lead RBT, reaching 1000 supervision hours, and earning a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. These accomplishments have led me to become a behavior analyst intern, which allows me to apply my BCBA skills through creating behavior strategies and programs to improve client outcomes.
My ‘Why’ is my family. Over time I have had family be educators, nurses, and / or been diagnosed with autism themselves. Seeing the effect that helping people and teaching people has, it has led me to want the same in my career and life. Seeing the positive impact that you can have on families and their lives is very rewarding and impactful to me.
Outside of work I enjoy watching baseball, spending time with friends, reading books, and cooking/baking. These hobbies and interests are great at helping me reset and be present with myself, my clients, and their families; allowing for better service delivery and more meaningful therapy to clients.
