One of the greatest accomplishments in my business journey is not a revenue milestone, an award, or a growth metric. It is the fact that I turned a life-altering tragedy into the motivation to build a company dedicated to improving the lives of autistic children and their families.

In 2022, I survived a life-threatening accident that could have easily ended my life. By all accounts, the outcome should have been far worse. Instead, I walked away with what many would consider a miracle: a traumatic brain injury and the opportunity to keep living. While the physical and emotional recovery was challenging, the experience forced me to confront a question that many people spend their entire lives avoiding: If I was given another chance, what would I do with it?

Before the accident, like many people, I had dreams, ambitions, and ideas about the impact I wanted to make. However, there was always a reason to wait. There was always another obligation, another responsibility, or another excuse to postpone taking the leap. Surviving that accident changed everything. Facing the possibility of losing my future gave me clarity about how I wanted to spend the rest of my life.

During my recovery, I reflected deeply on what meaningful work looked like for me. The answer became increasingly clear. I wanted to dedicate my career to helping autistic children reach their fullest potential and supporting the families who advocate for them every day. I saw an opportunity to create an organization that not only delivered high-quality ABA therapy but also built genuine partnerships with families and focused relentlessly on meaningful outcomes.

That vision became the foundation of my business. Today, our mission is to scale ethical, individualized ABA therapy that drives measurable outcomes for neurodiverse individuals and their families through trusted partnerships and continuous innovation. Our vision is a world where every neurodiverse child and family feels seen, supported, and empowered to live a life filled with purpose, connection, and joy.

What makes this accomplishment particularly meaningful is the journey behind it. Building a business from the ground up requires resilience, persistence, and a willingness to face uncertainty. Recovering from a traumatic brain injury while simultaneously pursuing entrepreneurship added another layer of complexity. There were setbacks, moments of self-doubt, and countless challenges that tested my commitment. Yet every obstacle reinforced the reason I started.

The milestone I am most proud of is transforming a second chance at life into a mission-driven company with the potential to create lasting impact. Every family we support, every child who develops new skills, and every moment of progress reminds me why this work matters. The business is no longer simply a professional endeavor; it is the direct result of a promise I made to myself after surviving an experience that changed my perspective forever.

This accomplishment has moved the business forward by establishing a foundation rooted in purpose. Families, employees, and community partners connect with organizations that are driven by authentic commitment, and that commitment stems directly from my journey. The accident taught me that time is not guaranteed and that meaningful impact cannot be postponed indefinitely. As a result, I approach every decision with urgency, gratitude, and a clear understanding of the difference our work can make.

Surviving that accident did more than save my life—it gave me the courage to pursue the work I was meant to do. The business that exists today is a reflection of that realization, and every step forward is a reminder that even life's most difficult moments can become the catalyst for extraordinary purpose.
